Dr. Seuss Food

There was so much fun food at the Dr. Seuss party I decided to do a whole post about the food. I spent some time searching online and through Dr. Seuss books deciding what fun names to give to the food we decided to have. What's a kid party without hot dogs? We decided to go with hot dogs because they are easy and fun! On our menu was: hot dogs, buns, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, green deviled eggs, fruit, jello w/fish, tons of goldfish, pretzels & dip and cupcakes! We also made some fun drinks made of sprite and jello ice. Bottled water, pink lemonade & sweet tea were also on the menu! Each food had its own little label that made it fit in to Dr. Seuss world!

Seuss Juice- made with sprite, red & yellow jello ice!

Beezelnut splash- made with sprite, green & blue jello ice!
We also had pink yink ink drink (pink lemonade)
A crumb that is even too small for a mouse!
Green eggs & no ham

One fish, two fish, red fish, jello fish!

Yummy cupcakes!

Goldfish bar!

Dr Seuss 5th Birthday Party!

My nephew turned 5 on August 3 and I helped my sister plan a small friend get together for him. The theme was Dr. Seuss and it was so much fun to plan. I searched for ideas, printables, games, food and anything you could think of. I found some awesome printables from The Giving Madam and went from there with the theme. We had all sorts of Seuss snacks, anything you could imagine! We used Dr. Seuss books on the tables for decoration, had a coloring table set up, bowling outside, a goldfish bar, and gumball guess! It was so much fun putting all of this together and it was so much fun on party day to see it all set up.

Goody bags!
My sister made these cute soaps with fish in them for all of the kiddos to take home.

They also got to take home a bag of "thank you fish!"

The other goodies in the bags consisted of a Dr. Seuss pencil, eraser & punch balloons!
